Creating An Online Business Fail Alerts!
3 Little-Known Things That Could Ruin Your Chances Of Success

Wanna know why so many people fail when creating an online business?

And more importantly, are you 100% sure you're not making the same mistakes?

Let's face it. Being a beginner in anything is hard.

There's usually way too many things to learn and very little time.

Unfortunately, there are still lots of people who think that this online "thing" will start giving them results overnight.

Many in fact fall for Get-Rich-Quick schemes. This truly saddens my heart. Why do people take advantage of others like that?

When creating an online business, some fail because they don't research their market properly. If you don't know your market, how can you expect to succeed? Others get their positioning wrong. The list is endless!

But what I've found over the years is that there are 3 other things that can sneakily creep onto you without you even noticing!

Yep this is true. You could be ruining your chances of online success without you even knowing it!

I know this for a fact because for a while, these very same things were holding me back too.

Are You Sabotaging Your Chances Of Creating A Profitable Online Business?

If you're currently doing any of the 3 things that I'm about to mention, then I guarantee you that you're drastically decreasing your chances of online success. So if you're making these mistakes, stop doing them right now!

So what ARE these things?

REASON FOR FAILURE #1 - Too much of a good thing is STILL too much!

When I first started my online journey about 5 years ago, I did what most people do when they're dreaming of creating an online business.

I signed up for as many newsletters that I could possibly get my hands on. I figured the more I knew about this “online business thing” the better chances of success right? And it was all free, so that couldn’t hurt.

But what happened?

Couple of weeks later, I found myself getting tens of emails each day on all sorts of Internet Marketing topics. So I was getting emails on how to create my own website, how to design a website, how to market my website, how to find my niche, how to sell online and all sorts of stuff.

And I’m not even mentioning the tons of emails I used to receive on Get-Rich-Quick schemes!!! Luckily I never fell for that crap but I did buy loads of e-books all promising overnight success. So I guess you could say that I DID buy into the "quick results zero effort" scams for a while.

But why did I put “Too much of a good thing is STILL too much” as Reason #1?

Let me explain.

Let’s assume that you weeded out the scammers and those that provided little value. You’re STILL going to end up with lots of emails to go through!

So that’s when the "too much of a good thing" comes in.

Last time I checked, there were only 24 hours in a day.

So naturally there is a limit to the amount of emails you can read without distracting yourself from your main goals i.e. to actually create and build YOUR online business!

It’s even worse if like many newbies you still have a day job.

So what am I getting at?

Choose your subscriptions very carefully that's what!

No you can't sign up for over a 100 newsletters and naively believe that you're accelerating your path to online success by doing that. You're not. Period.

I admit that this is easier said than done. And the gurus don't make it any easier for the rest of us either.

Here's what usually happens. You follow Guru #1 and you think he's awesome. He shares great tips and advice for free and you're learning tons of new stuff from him.

Now most gurus have JV partners. And lots of them! So if you subscribe to Guru #1's newsletter, after a while you'll start noticing that he starts recommending all these awesome “buddies” he has. Of course! Why wouldn't he? That's how he makes tons of money off his email list.

So here's what you'll most probably do. If you're loving the high quality content you're getting from Guru #1, you’re going to subscribe to his buddy's (Guru #2) newsletter too. Because if Guru #1 gave him a shout out, then he must be good as well right?

And this is exactly where your road to failure starts. While there’s a good chance that Guru #2 IS awesome, if you subscribe to too many newsletters, you’re just limiting your chances of online success.

You’ll end up feeling overwhelmed. More emails to read, more free webinars to attend to, more new Guru "buddies" to check out, the works! How on earth are you going to find the time to do all these things AND also try to build your online business? You won't!

You'll just end up feeling paralyzed.

So if you’re subscribed to way too many newsletters, go and unsubscribe from as many as you can RIGHT NOW! Do it.

REASON FOR FAILURE #2 - Forever getting ready

Stop getting ready to start your business.

The amount of information available these days on creating an online business is just way too much! Plus the biggest issue that I find with most websites is that few actually provide ALL the information you need to become successful. They usually (deliberately or not) hold back on stuff and leave the important things out.

So as a newbie, you risk losing the battle before you even start and your dream of creating an online business will remain just that - a dream.

My advice? Inform yourself thoroughly and do extensive research before you start. But then, go for it. You will never be 100% ready because there is always something new to learn. Even experts never stop learning.

The beauty with all things online is that you don’t have to invest a ton of money if you don’t want to. So apart from your time, you can jump into the online world with a shoestring budget. Literally.

Make no mistake though. Creating an online business is no mean feat. You'll have to be willing to work real hard if you want to succeed.

REASON FOR FAILURE #3 - Grasshopping

Stop being a grasshopper! This is a common trait that I see with many newbies.

We're all attracted to new shiny things.

And in the online marketing world, “new shiny things” translates to new systems and new formulas that keep mushrooming in front of our eyes every day.

Stop jumping from one online opportunity to another. Stick to what you’re building right now and don’t let other systems distract you.

If you did your research right, then hopefully you chose the process and system that will get you there.

Commit yourself to that system.

If you keep trying new stuff because they promise you quicker results, you probably won’t see ANY results.

Also never forget, that just because a system or strategy works in a particular niche, it doesn’t automatically mean that it will work in your line of business.

So stick to what you’re doing, test and re-test to see what works best and proceed accordingly.
